So yesterday, I mentioned that a card I stamped couldn’t be saved. That, “There are no mistakes. There are only embellishment opportunities,” didn’t work out. It’s rare but it happens. This one, however, is the perfect example of how to save a card that is messed up! LOL So, where’s the boo-boo? Well, I stamped over it! Just off the tail of the “Y” in thank you, I had ink on the edge of the stamp and didn’t see it when I stamped the sentiment. There wasn’t going to be anything else on the card… Just the sentiment. Well….. Not a bad save, eh? Coloring the butterfly with markers also helped conceal lighter lines… Phew! *mops her brow*
Thick Whisper White card stock, Stazon ink, and colored with markers. That’s it! Deja Vu? LOL Simple. But, elegant. Tomorrow, I will post my favorite of the bunch!
This card went to my mother-in-law. She sent me a gift card for my birthday and I wanted to thank her.
