Prepping for Fairs

pigscanflyI LOVE this stamp set!  I don’t know why.  I am not a HUGE pig fan.  But, I just love it!  As I have started to prepare for not only upcoming craft fairs but a Women’s Expo here in a week or so, I just needed this set to be a part of it.  This is a refillable notepad cover (I have the instructions on my blog here:  https://stampwithaltitude.com/2017/02/03/throwback-thursday/).  Anyway, This Little Piggy is a great set.  I will post more of these soon.

I used blender pens to water color in Soft Sky, Powder Pink, Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride.  The notepad cover is Melon Mambo with a Basic Black mat.  I stamped the pig and sentiments in Basic Black Archival.  What do you think of this one?

A Toast!

bottle-hostHere’s a great project for the Hostess with the Mostest!  It’s super simple and some of the items used are retiring; some are even on sale!  Don’t wait to get yours as this is truly timeless.  What Host wouldn’t love to receive of bottle of something yummy (will work with any bottle size – wine, sparkling cider and the like) letting them know you appreciate them??

I sold a couple “kits” at the craft fair.  I also sold some of the completed bottles!  The Kits came with a 3 x 12″ strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP with a strip of Sticky Strip (still had a couple of rolls left) to cover the bottle label,  the tag with ribbon, the ribbon for the closure of the gusseted bag

Chocolate…. YES, please!

ghirabagThis little beauty came from the mastermind of one of my downline.  Rebecca and I have been working together for the past 3 weeks and I can say that it’s been the three best weeks.  She’s been invaluable to me.  At any rate, I have a template for a chocolate box that I had used for years.  One thing that I have noticed, people don’t usually by it.  They didn’t realize what was inside.  Rebecca said, “well, what if we put in cello bag.”  Remember, I am a hoarder and I found Stampin’ Up!’s old small cello bags.  Enough for this project anyway!  Sooooo, the hardest part of this project was to find a “topper” for the bag.  But, I managed!

I used an oval thinlet, embossed it with the Cable Knit Impressions folder and made a cute tag!  Rebecca added the googly eyes (non-Stampin’ Up!) from her stash and the rest, as they say, is history!

Impatient… There’s always tomorrow

nuggetsWell, my light tent came in…. and… well, I put it together wrong.  Of course, my man came to the rescue and after 10 minutes or so, got it to …. well… figured out that the top was the bottom and the bottom was the top…. LOL  Anyway… I am going to try a few tips my niece gave me and see how that goes too!  Hopefully the pictures will be better.

These adorable nugget stacks are always a big hit at the craft fair.  I don’t exactly charge what I should for my goodies.  So, they sell like hot cakes!

There is a mix of retired stamp set and ribbon… plus current.  The current product will have links to my Stampin’ Up! website.
