Prepping for Fairs

pigscanflyI LOVE this stamp set!  I don’t know why.  I am not a HUGE pig fan.  But, I just love it!  As I have started to prepare for not only upcoming craft fairs but a Women’s Expo here in a week or so, I just needed this set to be a part of it.  This is a refillable notepad cover (I have the instructions on my blog here:  https://stampwithaltitude.com/2017/02/03/throwback-thursday/).  Anyway, This Little Piggy is a great set.  I will post more of these soon.

I used blender pens to water color in Soft Sky, Powder Pink, Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride.  The notepad cover is Melon Mambo with a Basic Black mat.  I stamped the pig and sentiments in Basic Black Archival.  What do you think of this one?

WOW!

I have to say that when I get a referral, I love it!  I made these darling little apple cider packets for the craft fair at Liberty High School in the beginning of the month.  From there, I got two referrals!  I have made over 90 of these great gifts this month!  The last of them went out today, FedEx!  One of the referrals prompted a new gift idea that I came up with!  That, I will save for another post to come soon!  Basically, all this is a cello bag filled with a cider packet and a cinnamon stick!

Punch Happy

As I continue to make crafts, I realize that this doesn’t help my blogging!  I get so caught up in making 50 of one thing that I forget to post to inspire you!  I started at 8:30 AM this morning and didn’t realize it was 11 AM until I got a phone call! Yikes! Now it’s 3 pm?? Where did this day go??

Anyway, these were a big hit last year.   I didn’t make many of them as I wanted to see if they would sell.   Luckily, I saved one little elf face so I remembered how to do this!  Phew!  This year, I am adding a snowman.  I love his crooked little smile!!

These Tic Tac holders were made with some retired product.  The Two Tags Die for the Big Shot is one of them! I still can’t believe that this die is gone but luckily, I can still use it for craft fairs.  My fabulous upline created a video for these adorable little treats.  I just followed that!  The ribbon and googly eyes are also retired.  But everything else is current (I think… 🙂 Oh, the elf feet and hat are done with Lucky Limeade paper)

Using What You Have…

Good morning!  Here’s a quick gift that I will be selling at the craft fairs this year.  I will have two styles this year.  One style will be in a tin with a clear lid (12 nuggets fill the tin) and this style (it holds 6 nuggets).  This project is super simple to do.  Get a piece of card stock 1 7/8 x 6 and score 1/4″ on either side of the 1 7/8″ side.  Fold each score line and burnish with a bone folder.  Wrap each your Hershey nuggets with a 1 x 3 piece of DSP.  Slide the tray into a “pretzel bag.” Voila!  If your nuggets are going to stand up, I recommend adhering them to the tray.  I used some retired paper and ribbon but you will find a list of what is current below.
