Here is my inspiration card for this month’s challenge. In the image below, we were asked to use the photo for inspiration. I found another really neat color combo that I wanted to use and decided to use the bees that are in the photo. The color combo here is Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Crushed Curry. I used the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp set and the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits to make this card. Watercolor paper was used as was an aquapainter to color the watercolor paper in Marina Mist.
While I got this card layout from my upline, I did change it a bit. The DSP used here is Naturally Eclectic as I thought the pattern went nicely with the dots stamp in the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I also really liked the pop of color from the Glitter Enamel Dots. I used a tiny piece of doily and a thread from the burlap ribbon just for fun accents on the card. I really hope you like it!! I am thinking about sending this card to a friend… but who? Do you want it?? Comment below! I will pick one person randomly!
Here are a couple of cards for your bridesmaid! It’s a great way to thank them for being a part of a day that you will never forget! This is also completely customizable (that’s my new word of the day) to wedding colors as well! Here I have, white cards with different fames, One is in Black. The other in Gold.
I’ve kept the cards simple but we can always add butterflies, flowers, whatever you want!
Here’s another great idea for brides! Check out this cute project! This pillow box has a string hanging out of it. When you pull the string, the message comes out of the box. This one says, Will you be my matron of honor? Isn’t that cute!! I agree!
All of my ideas can be customized for the Bride’s personal taste in colors. I just chose some popular color schemes.
Here’s an adorable way to ask your bridesmaids and maid/matron of honor to be part of the wedding party! Pull off the cork, pull up the “note-in-a-bottle” and unroll the note!!
The bottles around just over 2″ tall. So tiny and so cute! It will be hard to resist becoming a bridesmaid when she unrolls her note….
I have more wedding ideas coming your way! Stay Tuned.
(Just a note – I bought these little bottles years ago…. just now starting to clear out my stash!)
